:

The full details of The Z.A.C.K. has been lost in the cosmic wilderness… however, we know this to be true… They produced this incredible debut album in 1979, that French composer Robert Loubet was the brains of the operation and that this LP produced one single, the albums opener “Mister Satellite”. The main story about the album is the music. Featuring 6 tracks of off kilter cosmic disco, that’s become a huge collectors item with collectors worldwide. Opening with “Mister Satellite”, a spacey ballad with subtle smokey vocals and sleezy overtones, next “565, Where Are You” is a Hi-NRG stomer with robotic vocals and electronic melodies, while side A closer “Mind The Cosmic Rocker” is a dancefloor belter with its tongue firmly in its cheek! The B side features the 12 minute epic “Immediate Boarding Folks To The Moon”, has incredible edit potential with its opera-esque vocals that literally goes off into its own orbit of thoughts and ideas, while ‘Long Distance’ is a tripped out cosmic lullaby thatfirmly steps into the zone of musical soundscapes a la Jean Michael Jarre and Jean Luc Ponty. - No Label (discomix1)
